I recently stumbled upon an incredible photographer on Photo Vogue who won the Best of Photo Vogue award on May 29, 2023, and I couldn’t resist sharing her work. Born and raised in Berlin to Turkish parents, Güzin Mut grew up in a multicultural environment. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and working as a Senior Project Manager in New York, she found herself seeking more. To fill the void, she turned to photography and enrolled in evening classes at the School of Visual Arts. Her journey led her to become a part-time product photographer and content creator for Wool & Oak. She showcased her talent with lifestyle photographs for the high-profile property 40 Tenth Avenue, winning an Indigo Award. Later, she left her corporate career to travel Southeast Asia, where her photography evolved significantly. Today, based in Berlin and Antalya, she continues to capture diverse stories without predefined labels, allowing humanity to shine through her lens. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in renowned publications.
